Good to know
Questions
- What should I wear?
- Women: For a fall black-tie wedding, choose a floor-length evening gown or a sophisticated formal midi in rich autumn jewel tones like emerald, burgundy, navy, or classic black. Luxurious fabrics like satin, velvet, and silk naturally elevate your look while honoring the formal dress code. Men: Tuxedo optional, suit required. For a classic black-tie wedding guest dress code, a black or midnight blue tuxedo paired with a formal white dress shirt, a black bow tie, and patent leather dress shoes is standard.
- What time should I arrive?
- Doors open at 4:30 PM and the ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM. The evening ends at 10:00 PM.
- Is the ceremony indoors?
- The ceremony is on the covered waterfront terrace, with the reception indoors. November evenings on the harbor are brisk, so bring a wrap.
- Can I bring a guest?
- Your invitation names everyone we have saved a seat for. If you are unsure, note it in your RSVP message and we will confirm.
- Are children welcome?
- We are keeping the evening adults-only, with the exception of children in the wedding party.
- What about gifts?
- Your presence is the gift. If you would like to give something, a contribution to our honeymoon fund is warmly appreciated.
- Dietary restrictions?
- Tell us in the message field on your RSVP and we will make sure the kitchen knows.
- When should I reply?
- Please RSVP by October 7, 2026.
